Location: Porto

Position Type: Full-time

Allyn International, a privately held professional services firm established in 1992, is seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Porto. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the team leader in developing, designing, and implementing client software systems.
• Serve as a team member or individual contributor on development projects.
• Review test procedures, refine existing protocols, and enhance system functionality.
• Study and analyze existing office procedures, prepare system flow charts, and describe operations through logic diagrams.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and document programs for reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews and analyze design documentation created by peers.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for users facing software or database issues.
• Lead projects, including preparing project plans, managing timelines, and ensuring objectives are met within scope and budget.
• Train and orient staff and users to new systems or tools.
• Develop and implement programming specifications, define logic, and establish database design standards.
• Collaborate with team members on implementing new software systems, tools, and communication solutions.
• Perform and support software releases while maintaining high-quality standards.

Required Education and Experience:

• Strong knowledge of .NET and SQL Server.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in client-based application development, encompassing design and programming.
• Web development expertise, including:
• Asp.NET WebForms, MS Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, ExtJS, Ext.NET, EntityFramework
• Technologies like NPOI, MyGeneration, NANT, CruiseControls, NUnit, XML, JSON, WebServices, WCF, and Design Patterns
• Experience with reporting services.
• MSSQL Server DBA skills (preferred but not mandatory).
