About you

Strong knowledge of Java / Kotlin and Spring (Spring Boot stack)

Knowledge of data structures and understanding of algorithms

Experience with relational databases (in particular PostgreSQL)

Experience with full-text search solutions (in particular Elasticsearch)

Experience in developing web-applications

Good sense of humour

Nice to have, but not a must

Understanding micro-service architecture

Experience in Unix-like systems

Knowledge of Python

Key Responsibilities

Developing new functionality in accordance with product specifications

Ensuring written code is thoroughly tested

Maintaining the existing code base

Participating in deployment and support activities

Backend Responsibilities:

Designing and developing server-side applications using Kotlin and related technologies

Developing and maintaining APIs for server-client communication

Designing and implementing optimized database schemas

Ensuring security and scalability of backend systems

Collaborating with front-end developers for seamless integration

Structuring, modularizing, and maintaining the backend codebase

Debugging and fixing reported issues

Conducting code reviews and providing feedback

Staying updated with the latest backend technologies and best practices
